Mourne not your comrades who must dwell / too strong to strive -
Within each steel-bound coffin of a cell, / Buried alive;
But rather mourne the apathetic throng / The cowed, and the meek -
Who see the world’s great anguish and its wrong / And dare not speak.

You just proved my point, Mabian. Thank you.
Wait...wait...I'm confused. What was your point? I think I know it, but I'm not sure anymore. Are we taking two different approaches to argue the same point, or did I just say that you're nothing more than a worthless troll and should be ignored?
Both, I think. Impurity is saying that he was trying to prove that it is best just to ignore them, by being a troll himself, and showing what happens when you respond. (Now, whether that was his original purpose, or he is just trying to cover up the fact that he just wanted to have some fun by making it seem like there was a reason, I'll leave up to you.)
As for the topic, I agree that you should just ignore it. You are not going to get into trouble for a quote that you didn't say, and if a member is not intelligent enough to realize that you have been blatantly misquoted, then their doesn't really matter, at least to me.
Now, if the person misquotes you in a way that makes it hard to notice that that was not your original intent, I would simply point that out. Maybe quote it, then state that that was not what you said. After saying that, the other members will probably be more likely to look for discrepancies in later quotes.
