Nowadays, it seems like whenever there is spam, and i hurry to google talk to try to get it shut down, no one is on there. Although several months ago, they could be reached almost 24/7, now they seem to rarely come on, if at all.

So i want to ask the ninjas this: do you still use google talk for ninja work, or have you all just stopped signing in? And if you all still use it, how long do you stay online? Or is it just my bad luck that i can never reach you guys when spam surfaces?

I just stick with good ol' PM-ing. PM-ing gets the job done.

They were just on yesterday. But up until then, I was wondering the same thing. That's the only time I've seen them on, though I've only been using it for about a week.

unfortunately, i have no way of seeing which mods are on at that moment, and often i dont have time to PM all 15+mods, none of which may be on at that moment anyway...

Yeah, they still use GTalk.

You just have to catch them at the right time........even though there is no set time.

Uh, well I guess it's just luck. But they still use it.

This was posted yesterday, I think.

It should help.
EDIT: What I mean is that I just found it yesterday; it's been around for a while, apparently.

I do not use Google Talk anymore -- it's kind of redundant when my MSN address is public. It also means I don't have to have yet another IM client eating resources on my PC.

Most of the time it's Recon on there, and occasionally Ghandi comes on. Other than that... erm...

Ach! Was ist los?

Google Talk doesn't work on my machine and MSN is evil, so PMs are the best way to get my attention.

I still use Google Talk... at least when I remember to.

I hate everything, but it's not my fault.

Marvin, please don't be a jerk.

I use GTalk and check the Gmail account when I remember to (which is most of the time), but my MSN is also public so it is a tad redundant, which is probably why I forget to sign on sometimes.

GTalk can be convienant sometimes, especially while checking email. I don't see why it's so horrible...

Yeah, they still use GTalk.

You just have to catch them at the right time........even though there is no set time.

Uh, well I guess it's just luck. But they still use it.

Right. Also, don't forget that they also have real jobs/school (I'd hope :p)

Yeah I caught Recon just before he went out to lunch, LoL

Funny thing is, I was on my way to lunch as well. Talk about coincidence, yeah. But GTalk is pretty effective. It gets the job done the best when someone's on.

They are still on, but you weren't around when you could sign on Gmail and there was one of them on. Like...all the time. Literally.

Lately, I've seen Ghandi on the most.

Edit: I don't want you to think I'm trying to be elitist. I'm not. I'm just stating a fact. I read my post again and I felt that it might come across as elitist to some. That isn't my intention.
