My Question
How exactly is it possible that my computer is running Halo? It's true, it looks pretty bad, and as someone has me quoted around here, people turn yellow when I shoot them, but all in all, it's not that bad, even though my PC fails to meet the minimum requirements by far. My graphics aren't anywhere near as bad as Intel Crapigrated, even though my card was probably made three years earlier that most Intel chips.
Believe it or not, GBX did a good job making sure low end hardware can run the game. People always -blam!-, saying they did an absolutely terrible job, but they dont realize that thanks to GBX, Halo will run. How well it runs is based on what your hardware can do. You simply cant make something look a certain way if your video card cant do so. I dont see how people aren't understanding that.
well there is always software rendering, but you arent going to be able to play halo at more than 1 or 2 frames a second.
