The interview was kinda funny but a little too obnoxious to be a weekly thing. I found I was asking myself, "Why am I reading this?"

I really enjoyed this update. It's always Comforting to hear things about Halo: Combat Evolved. That Video feed was awesome. And quite friankly to be honest after whatching that video Lan Of Halo, how anyone would say that the M6D pistol for Halo 2 or Halo 3 would just turn into a swat or Pistol shoot-out online or in any lan or tournament play. I think that Video clearly shows that that is not the case, and the M6D Pistol from Halo: Combat Evolved is NOT what actually made the game what it is to many of US. Yes I will agree that it May be alil too powerfull, but I dont think It would have promoted pistol shootouts online in anycase. I know it is way too late, and the M6D will never return, but I do hope that we see alot more of the "Feel" of Halo: Combat Evolved in Halo 3.

Great Update, Great Read!

I am sory, but i just want to point out also that there are many options availbale for game settings and suck for Halo 2 and wil be for Halo 3 for matchmaking and multiplayer. Why Bungie Hasn't taken this into consideration and having a playlist for pistols... or well you get the point, I think tha would broaden the Fanbase as well as bring back alot of lost fans. The playlist options can be limitless this is true, so why not include options to play with or without the pistol or a weapon of similar statistics. It's funny that the smartest people on the planet are working on these halo games, yet noone brings these issues into consideration. To me and many others, this does not make sense.

Peace.

I have walked the edge of the Abyss. I have governed the unwilling. I have witnessed countless empires break before me. I have seen the most courageous soldiers fall away in fear. [I was there with the Angel at the tomb] I have seen your future. And I have learned. There will be no more Sadness. No more Anger. No more Envy. I HAVE WON. Oh, and your poet Eliot had it all wrong: THIS is the way the world ends. -Cortana

I would have to say that this was hilarious.
And I enjoyed reading this very much.
Nothing better than witty jerks going at it.
I also enjoyed hearing what Louis had to say on the situation of what he liked and didnt like about Halo/Halo 2. I would say do it more like this from now on.

What place does it take in the bungie community?

  • 10.11.2006 5:19 PM PDT

At least it wasn't an IM log with underage congressional pages.

I don't think that your re-election campaign could recover from that.....

el em ay oh

btw KP little tip (i like how you give us hints about Halo 3 very silently)

;-)

There is sticky grenades on a rocky and boxy level, with grunts! This must mean the covenant have inhabited this area enough for you to have stickies... And since there is alot of grunts and no other things, you probably ran into them unexpected, since they usually go with a commanding Elite.

So it's most likely a temporary Covenant outpost that you are invading.
(hopefully)

Funny. Funny indeed. The interview doesn't need to be professional. It made me laugh, and that means more to me than just filling my brain with simple information that bores me half to death. It kinda offers me a perspective into the way that you Bungie guys think. I like it.

I liked the back-and-forthness, but I honestly preferred the old format, because people could have time to formulate a good answer and therefore it was higher quality.

What I'd like to see is possibly having a combined interview format: the old format of sending questions that get thoughtfully answered, and then after that, the real-time messanger format to go deeper on the answers or to ask new questions!

It was a good idea to bring in the real-time-ness though, but in this one I think I may have learned more about you than Wu. But in any case, thank you for taking the time to do and submit interviews! I enjoy reading them!

Normally i don't take much part in the forums or in giving feedback, but just cuz you asked so nicely for feedback, and because i liked what i saw so much and want to see it again i shall add my voice to the chorus of bungie fanboys

This interview is the exact reason i read bungie's updates. I can play the games without even looking at the site, i look at the site for a completely seperate reason, you are a business that's public relations isn't designed to try to please everybody while pleasing precisely nobody... that's what most PR is. You guys realise who you are targeting, an audience fed up with society trying to be too... proper, and too organized, just sit back and have fun with life and try to keep it going in the direction you set out in.

this interview is exactly that, just a candid interview, having fun and enjoying yourself while still moving in the direction of an interview.... ish.

I enjoyed this Interview with "The Wu". The type of format used made it more entertaining & funny to read, unlike the Essay-ish format with the Long-Arse paragraphs. (Which I still Read of course.) lolmefinished!!11!! Keep up with the Always Fantastic work KP.
