How do you make it so your Internet Explorer Does not cache. It get annoying in the forums. how do you disable it?

What does cache meen again? I thought that was were something was stored.

First of all, download Firefox.


You can delete your cache from internet options, a cache just makes it faster. A cache is required.

Im not too sure why you want to do this, but in the internet explorer menus (on the top of the screen, directly under the title bar) click on tools, then internet options. In the box wich opens you should see the second section down labled "Temporary internet files". Click on setings, In there you can allocate the amount of space you want to use for said files. Selecting 0 should yeild the results you want. After all with no place to put these files, they cannot get in your way.

i want to do this becuase i have to hit crtl= F5 becuase it wont show new threads unless i do that.

You cannot set the value to 0. You MUST have a cache.

Yeah, but you can set the value to 1 mb, wich may be enough for his uses.
