I was thinking, as not all of us are uberly brilliant, maybe some sort of noob boot camp would be in order. That way some of the more experienced players could teach people like me who aren't that good. Sorry if this has been said before.

Well, I'm one of the Major Generals of £§Ð, we have a boot camp. It's kind of long though and it's not really desighned to teach none clan members. You could join the clan, or I could ask the leader of the out army if we could scweas you in on one of our training lessons. Here's the clan link though
£§Ð
There are four seperate camps depending on how you like to fight. Also, this is a new site, some pages arn't up (just to warn you).

Ever since school started again, our clan hasn't been too active, but once it's up again, I'll try to squeeze you in, even though you're not in the clan. Our clan, {LP}, is a military style clan, so yeah, our training is sort of like what you would say: boot camp for newcomers.

If you want to become properly good, I could help you out, I have helped alot of people to become good but you have to be pretty dedicated.

C'mon, it's not like it's hard to be halfway decent at this game. Play through campaign and you'll have the basic skills necessary to play a decent game online. It's not like this game is especially difficult to play unlike other games such as Operation Flashpoint (A rediculously hard game)

Your right in one scence. The game isn't like counter strike, AA or any of those games. But theres a differance between being "decent" and a "pwnaholic". Even though the game isn't that hard some people will always need help, and even if you don't a boot camp can help you get even better.

Also there's another problem, lets say you just beat the campain, and your ready for some online action. You join a server and it's fun for the first few minutes even with few or no kills. But eventualy it's annoying because you keep dieing. So you leave, and join the server that says "noobs come here". And usualy you would be playing with people of the same skill level, but theres always that one -blam!- who joins the "noob" games just so he can kill and lagh in there faces. Also like half the servers on halo PC are rocket launchers and sniper rifle witch really can't teach you to be good either. My point is, unless you have something like matchmaking your usualy not going to get paired with people your skill level and your not going to learn as well.

I wonder if the Wolf thinks the Moon listens when he howls at it.

its called campagin on legendary. try getting through at least half and youll gain some cold hard skill. the leading part when shooting you can only really learn in MP
