I am offering to help anyone to improve at halo who is interested. This invite extends to anyone who has broadband and lives in europe, the states or canada.

If you are interested It will mostly be at weekends and over time I will help teach you the following:

How to aim
Tactics and strategies
Art of communication
How to play bg, sw, dc, if, rr, heh, dere, pris and co maps.
Matches Sized from 1v1 to 5v5
Team slayer, twl assault, cbctf, ctf gametypes
Tricks
Other stuff I can't think of just now

I will only do this is I manage to get a sufficient number of players who are interested

The course will be very advanced and you will learn how to play halo at a much higher level than the one you are playing at. You will have to be dedicated and flexible with the times you can play.

What do you think?

I'd be interested in a trial run... maybe one "session" or whatever, and at the end, if it seems worth it maybe I'd go in for the long haul..

I would love to do this, as I earned to play on console, and never could get to grips with the pc version, brilliant though it is.

We've been here since you left.
We left before you came.

I'm ok at halo, but who doesn't need to learn some new tips and tactics. Count me in too, do you need my credit card?

Here you will need this to help you get your foot out of the back of your throat, looks llike its in there pretty deep. And what is that on your face? Egg?! *hands Kim a washcloth*

I am, though I am mostly interest in tactics and the like. I want to get into competitive halo, having just played casually for the vast majority of my time spent playing. I pretty much decided when I got the game that after clanning in UT2003(competitive) that I wanted to take a break from clans and play casually.

I am skeptical at what I can learn besides aiming better. Care to share a tidbit of knowledge to entice the uberleet out here?

I don't know, I'm not sure if I need help in improving my skills or not. I myself honestly think I am decent enough, but then again, I'm not as insanely good as the pros. So ok, count me in, um, that is if you have room for me. =/

I frown upon training. You should learn how to play yourself.

Just a personal opinion

Rediscovery is only used by fools.

Okay guys, I think the first training session will be at about 10pm GMT (Greenwich Mean Time +0) this Sunday.

Add me on xfire: jambokevin
And join my teamspeak whenever you like: 66.55.142.230:8789

It will last an hour, give or take depending on attendance. I would be appreciative if any of you could get me hold of a US server, otherwise it will have to be in my UK server.

For the first 30 minutes or so I will teach you about leading, tell you what to do for all pings. How to lead on hogs and at various distances, this may take longer than 1800s but oh well.

If possible I would like to end it by making 2 teams and having a practice BG CTF (I won't play) and have 1 team use my tactics and the other team organize themselves.

My clan, which is {LP}, is very unique from most clans, because we have a military style training sessions/classes. Most amateur clans perform the usual "practice" sessions, which doesn't teach the clan members anything at all. Training is very useful to boost your Halo skills, and it also gives much better results than what you would've gotten if you tried to learn yourself.

But then again, yes I agree, everyone should practice themselves, and use the training option as a last resort.

You all would be suprised how much you can learn on your own. I think its the way to do it.
