In the Halo 1 HEK, the bsp mesh cannot intersect itself in the same way that a scenery model can intersect the mesh. Self-intersecting bsp led to collision errors in-game. Does the H2EK have the same problem, or has it been fixed?
Also, the HEK is known to create invisible pieces of geometry when converting a mesh to a bsp tag. These invisible pieces of geometry are a pain to deal with and remove. Has this problem been solved in the H2EK?

It had better. I want to see a crapload of quality maps, I'm even going to try some myself. I wonder if I can use 3ds MAX with it.

The bsp mesh can very well intersect itself. You just have to know how to do it properly while still maintaining sealed world requirements.

I really dont see why soo many people have a hard time with that requirement. It's only standard modeling to seal up your work unless its nature dictates otherwise. If you're making a level, you dont leave a hole for the player to fall through.
