Well since clans are suported it would cool that your logo you make will be suported in CTF matches on the flags . Or if you are playing DM , make it on the side of a base or something .

What do you guys think ?

that'd be cool having a symbol for each clan but the actual ppl playing in the clan would still have to chose a different symbol to each other or they wouldnt know who's who so i dont think they would really bother with that unless on the left arm of the master chief or elite was the clan symbol and on the right would be their individual symbol or vice versa but i would be cool seeing a different symbol on the flag when u capture it from the other teams base

are u sure its clan logo's not just your individual logo that your team mates see above your head instead of that crappy green arrow

Most likely the flag will have the team symbol on it. Most likely if the base has the space for a symbol then it will.
As for Players the clan symbol will be put on their arm and most likely the back. And for teamates there is a little clan symbol above the head of your team mate (instead of the green arrow).

As for not knowing who is which is the whole point of a clan. You see the players as a group/team. It makes the game a lot more real only knowing which is your team mate and which isn't. It gives the whole feeling of two clans fighting. All you know is which is your colour (the clan emblem sums up what the clan is). It's a possibility that Bungie will use the system of the name appearing when your crosshairs go near the player. That's how you tell you it is.

It might be good to have the name of your team mate under the clan emblem (both on the hovering indicator AND the the spartan/elite armor. So you can quickly recognise which team member is closest (and therefore help you)

yes. clans can design their own logo and use it when on xbl. im not 100% sure about the flag but if its clan vs clan i would think the flag has the clan logos on them

if they are gonna put a clan symbol on the master chief instead of the individual symbol there is no point for the individual symbols, i think the most logical thing they would do is have the clan symbol on 1 arm and the individual symbol on the other so that enemys would know that they are apart of the clan because they would still see that symbol but as for the individual symbol above the head instead of the green arrow it should stay like that because the enemy doesnt see what is above their hear only teammates do so i think ppl are gonna know they are in the same clan without the same symbol on their head. and the whole point of having the individual symbol above the head is so u know whos in trouble where so u can go help them battle it out with the enemy

um....well there is a oint for individual symbols because not everyone is in a clan. also you can put more the 1 logo on your spartan so it would be cool to have a clan logo and a individual one to reconize which group a certain player belongs too and to help reconize the player in general

The Symbols on the Armours are meant to help you identify which of your friends is Billy once he calls out for help on the communicator.

Billy: "Help, I'm pinned down by a sniper!"
John: "Where are you?" *looks areound seeing six golden arrows pointing at his companions
Billy: "I'm the bio-hazard symbol."
John: *looks at each golden arrow for a second as each displays the person's symbol. Finally sees the familiar concentric rings of a bio-hazard.* Gotcha Billy. Flaming Ninja is at your four o'clock. Ninja, let's help out Billy."
Flaming Ninja: *who'd just finished mopping up his enemy* Sheild's regenerating. I'll be right with you.

Try doing that with those green arrows from Halo1 or if you all had the same symbols.
I'm pretty sure the clan symbol would be displayed on the Match's start page and rankings page in addition to the flag and possibly upon the base.

well if that is true about putting more than one logo on that would be cool cus like ive been saying the enemy would definently know your part of that certain clan

As I said. They'd be displayed on the opening screen and the rankings screen.

If you were good, I'm sure they'd look and see who that guy was that whupped them so badly. Then they'd see the clan symbol and wonder about their reputation...

Mind you, if you didn't stick out. No one would give a crap. So they wouldn't bother looking. *lol*

A second point is if you had a free space on your armour that was filled by your clan symbol there's going to be a thousand "clans of one member" just to make for a cooler armour.
