You can either rip the CD into a .iso image and mount it to a virtual drive with DAEMON tools, or download a mini image (a 20mb fake image of Halo PC) and mount it using DAEMON tools.

It's legal and safe, ask me about it if you need help.

Plasmoe is correct, and it is legal, though there is basis for a dispute there.

Completely and fully legal assuming you bought the game.

Either way, that won't work unless you have a CD key to begin with.

Nintendo 64: $100

Nintendo Games and equipment: $200

Playing Star Fox 64 on an emulator you downloaded off the internet so you could play it on your computer: Priceless

a very nice little app that i use to make virtual discs is Circle Virtual CD its a handy small program that doesn't take up a bunch of memory and doesn't come with any frills or unneeded extras. i think the best part about this program though is it allows you to be playing halo while your copying the disc. just a little something to do to while the rough hour to copy ~800 MB.

It would be quicker if you weren't sucking up all the RAM playing Halo while your copying the disc...

i find it actually goes faster playing it while copying it. besides who cares how long it takes while playing. at least you have something to do.

I use Farstone VirtualDrive. It runs decently, and is rather shiny, but can only copy unprotectd CDs. So no Halo.vcd for me :(
Circle = saved to HD!
