Yes, that would be me.

Gaming Systems:
Intel Core i7 720QM (4 cores, 8 threads)
4Gb DDR3-1333mhz
1Gb AMD Radeon HD 4650
Windows 7 64bit

Xbox 360 w/ 20Gb HDD (2008 edition) & XBL Gold.

"personally I hate it how people "always" bash Microsoft and Gates."

*Personal shock+a jaw drop* Holy *insert curse here*! I have found someone other than me who likes Microsoft! This is certainly a rare event, that's guarenteed.

I just think sometimes, when i see those big, blobby, white, tasteless, overpriced Apple computers: What if the whole WORLD was filled with these *cringe*?. Everyone seems to go "oooh" and "aahhh" around the so-called "elegance" of Apple machines, most especially Ipods. Personally i think the whole lot of them are complete rubbish and shouldn't be as popular as they are. But then the world is full of idiots, i suppose. (if anyone here has an Ipod, i'm not having a go, it's all opinion :P)

Thing is with PC's you have choice. Microsoft makes the OS, or you could use Linux as well or instead, but the actual PC itself could be one of hundreds of PC vendors, all distinct and fairly unique. With Apple machines, there's only ONE choice: White and blobby. Apple are also the most un-environmentally green out of ALL computer vendors, which for me just adds insult to injury. I'm glad MS have prevailence and, therefore, PC's, as i sit here on my nice silvery Dell laptop ^^ MS have done one HECK of a lot for computing. Yes there's the bad bits, with Windows ME for example and Microsoft sometimes using Bullyboy tactics, but then EVERYTHING has a bad side. The upcoming Windows Vista is my most looked forward to thing at the moment, alongside Halo 2 PC....and UT2007 :P

personally I never had any problems with Windows ME, and i had it for a few years. I also had a computer with windows 95 and for 3 years straight i never had a blue screen

Apple computers do come in different colors *iMacs* and there are a few diffrent colors of iPods, but not many colors.

but my main problem is how everything requires "i" infront of it *or "e" for a few computers*. iPod, iMac, iCrap, iPhoto, iTunes, iExplorer *whops*, iCon, iBlahblahblah, etc!

Dude, the "i" is to symbolize one's self. Me, myself, and I. It's all about me. Not that other guy, not that dude who's picking his nose, but me. If I were Apple, I'd probably make up "i" products myself.

The only reason Windows is more popular than Macs is the compatibility. There are a helluva lot more programs that run on Windows than Macs. Downside is, more viruses/spyware. Macs have a better OS, in terms of smoothness and securtiy. But, because of M$ dominating the field for however long they've been around, few companies take advantage of this.

Actually, they've found quite a few security flaws in recent Mac OS's. The only reason they aren't found more often, is because so few people actually use Apple Mac computers. Hackers and virus writers would find it fairly easy to hack Mac's, it's just not worth the time, because there aren't many of them to hack. PC's are much easier targets, because the net if full of them. So no matter what you do, there will always be people who commit crime and hackers that steal confidential info. All OS's have flaws, every last one. Therefore, all can be hacked. If Mac computers had prevailance (god forbid), they would suffer similar problems to PC's. When an OS like Windows is used by Billions of people across the world, you WILL find flaws in it.

Exactly, if Macs were the leading brand then they would have just as many viruses as Windows. Also, I never get viruses. Maybe once in a while but then my virusscan blasts it. If your changing to a Mac JUST because the viruses then you really know nothing about computers. Viruses arent a problem if you download things from trusted sites, have and run a good virusscan, and don't open suspicious e-mails.

The only truly secure computer is one you can't turn on. Once you plug it in you have just made it vulnerable to hacking.

Uh, wouldn't the most secure computer be one that's not connected to the internet? Because how in the hell is someone going to hack that computer? Through the power cord?

If I can turn it on, I can put in a CD or floppy and load a tool that gives me access to the file system and any info there in

That is so true; something all internet users should know.

That's why whenever I have some kind of serious virus tearing my system apart inside-out I turn it off.

Ah I see, so a computer that's not connected through the internet can be hacked if someone breaks into your house to use your computer.

How likely is that?

Which is a good way to totally corrupt the file system.

Why the HELL would you buy an Apple Mac....just to go install windows on it? The computer will be 3 times less powerful while being 3 times more expensive than most PC's.....!!!

<_< *sighs* I KNOW that Apple Mac's now have Intel Core Duo processors in them. I also know that many of the Macbook laptops with Intel's new processors in them, have had major teething problems, but Apple have done very little about it. I relate to a friend who is in this predicament right now. I also know that very few games run on Macs. I am certainly NOT ignorant where anything computer related is concerned. It's called an opinion, get used to it.

Can't we just set aside differances and stop arguing? I came to Bungie.net to avoid arguements, so can't we all just be nicer to each other? ^^

*rolls eyes* Those are used for server running uses. Go look at any other computer; they'll have built in duo or quad proccessors as well. Probably won't be overpriced as much as $2,500 for the cheapest optimization. Even then there's the problem of 75% of software not running on a Mac. This whole "OMGZ PCS GET MOR VIRUZES DEN MACS!" is blown out of proportion. I've had this computer for two years and I haven't received a single virus. Want to know why? Virus protection software! *gasp!*
