The Frontline - A group dedicated to help improve the forums as a whole.

This should be in The Septagon, but anyway...

Yes, people go there, but as you aren't allowed to post in the topic, it's hard to prove that threads have been viewed.

Location: Outlaws' Summit.

People go there more than you think.

And the reason it looks inactive? Because you're not supposed to post in there (even though people still do.)

But yeah, it serves its purpose.

Phrog pilots, reckless and free. We would strap into our birds, set the engines on fire, and leave these earthly bonds with a chorus of WHOP WHOP WHOP. Akin to beating your chest and howling in defiance at the rest of the world.

People go there more often than you think. If you don't think it's working right, how about offering some suggestions to make it better. :D

This is a signature.

In it's current position, it serves almost no good, and, therefore, there is no reason to put anything important into it.

Wow... reading this makes me feeling like checking out the classifieds... *click*

To me it seems, the problem is not with The Classifieds, its with the members. Once you have been on here for a while and have found some groups and clans to be active in, you no longer need to go hunting for new ones provided your current groups/clans stay active. I think another thing that kills The Classifieds is all the group advertisements in sigs. I'm not meaning to be a hypocrite, 'cause I have my own ads in my sig, but really you can go through a couple threads and find about a hundred different groups in various sigs.

Perhaps if it were wanted by the community, the revivement of the classifieds, a new rule would be that there can no longer be groups ads in sigs, or links for that matter. I'll be the first to say its a bad idea and nobody would go for it, but it would be nice to see more actual "witty signatures that can be placed on the bottom of all your forum posts'' instead of all these group advertisements. I also despise all those groups that have REQUIRED sig group ads just to be a member.

Become the hunter.

I go to the classifieds frequently, and only know about certain clans because of their ads.

SPOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!

I occasionally venture into the classifieds. I only join a group if it looks interesting to me though.

In the rules section, it only talks about chapters and clans. I would like it if you could advertise Bungie related sites other media. I've seen that kind of stuff in there before (i.e. the Bathroom Reader), but I don't know if were allowed to do that.

I go there occasionally. Just to see how people are promoting their groups; B.net members can be quite imaginative in their advertising. =)

Or to post an advert for my groups; although I find the links in signatures more effective.
