Example Thread.

Somehow two posts were made after the thread was locked, by I believe, Shishka.

I have seen this before. What is with it?

They could have gone through after the thread was locked. Or a mod could have unlocked it, posted, and locked it again.

Nice avatar change, by the way.

How exactly do you know the thread was locked previously before the last few posts were made? I see where you are going, but how do you know it was locked? Other than the, "I seen it was locked." excuse please.

I wanted to see the universe, so I stole a Time Lord and I ran away.

Ok, the quotes were justified since it was only two parties and we were talking to each other.

I don't know. Mabye the Moderator posts, and in the time it takes to press the magic lock botton a few more people do. Always what I thought.

I apologize for being so curt in that thread, but this is not about that thread, just posts after locks.

They were not submitted before the lock went into effect. I saw it locked, came back a second later and saw a new post in there.

Yeah, I've seen that happen before, and I don't have an answer. Let's ask Achronos.

Caching and having 6 web servers serving bungie.net means that depending on what server is showing you the page, you may not always have the up to the second view. There is a process called the "Cache Arbiter" that minimizes a lot of this, but you'll still see some things when a lot changes.
