I have had a Halo 2 account for a while now and I made a clan. I am inviting some of my friends but I don't really know how the clan matches and other things works. Could anyone help describe what the clans mean and how I will be able to do clan matches? I heard they are really fun so I am trying to figure out how to play them so thanks for the help.

Clan Matches were removed, so you can't play those anymore. You can find out why in the Optimatch stickies, but basically it wasn't being used that much, and it was almost a repeat of existing lists.

If you want to set up a match with another clan, you'll have to arrange that personally. Make sure you give powers to those you can trust, lest your clan be hurt or taken over.

You can also link your clan with your Bungie.net group. You can have up to 100 members in your clan.

There are four ranks: Overlord, Staff, member, and peon. Remember- give the ranks to those you can trust.

That's pretty much it, I guess. If anyone has anymore info, please share!

Well, the "Clanmatch" matchmaking playlist is no longer in existence, so your best bet is finding clans on Bungie.net, and scheduling a clan match with them in a custom game, etc.
