I have the Xbox 360 version of the game, but I want to see how it works on my laptop. Is there any trustable websites where I can download the demo?

EDIT-Mods, please lock this, it was supposed to be in the Flood.

This is the Maw, the Halo PC forum. Not the CoD forum...

Anyway, try FilePlanet

Did you even think about trying the official website for Call of Duty 2? Or checking out the minimum requirements? They should have a demo download for you there, because if they don't, then they suck.

Call of Duty 2 will work well on your laptop, do not worry about it. However, if you compare the PC version of COD2 to the Xbox 360 version, you'll notice that the Xbox 360 version runs silky smooth with a slight dip of framerate (probably just missing several frames per second) every once in a blue moon. COD2 was optimized for the 360 version. However, the PC version, which although runs very well and still looks jaw-droppingly awesome if you've got a good PC at high-resolution with all the bells and whistles, even the beefiest of the PCs can break a sweat.

But don't worry, considering how fast PCs evolve COD2 will run and look better than on the Xbox 360 version in time.

Here you will need this to help you get your foot out of the back of your throat, looks llike its in there pretty deep. And what is that on your face? Egg?! *hands Kim a washcloth*

CoD2 runs silky smooth on my laptop even with the details maxxed. Not to mention that the 360 version is far from smooth, it absolutly chokes whenever there is smoke around, it's very noticble for me when I played the MP.

IGN even did a head to head against the PC with the 360 version and the PC version was sharper and more detailed texture wise.

Ah, well, PC technology evolves fast. My statement really comes from the context of a year ago. Considering how fast technology grows, with the newest processors and graphics cards and whatnot, the PC clearly dominates.
