See that's the problem with Halo. There are many problems for Halo, the inevitable lag, the inevitable cheaters, and the under-exaggerated minimum system specs. But compared to this problem, those problems are nothing to me: most Halo's only install ONCE. Once you have a corrupt file or experience heavy damage while playing, you're forced to reinstall. Now this may seem simple despite the fact that you have to waste 20-30 min. more of your time reinstalling something, but it's not. 90% of the time, SOMETHING will interrupt the download, SOMETHING will cause the darn installation to stop. One of my closest friends, (also a lieutenant in my clan) had a corrupt file with his text in Halo. We had no idea about the quick and easy mxmlenu.exe solution, so he resorted to reinstalling Halo rather than play the game without text communication. But guess what happens?
He tried reinstalling 24 times, YES 24 TIMES. I went over to his house, deleted ALL traces of Halo, but it still didn't work, and always stopped the installation at around 84-85%. It finally worked in the 25th time, out of sheer luck and frustration.
WTH is wrong with Halo? I'm a big Halo fan, don't get me wrong, but how does Halo have this much bugs and errors in the netcode? I understand all games have some bad sides here and there, but Halo is ridiculously way over-chart. I mean what kind of game only allows ONE installation 90% of the time? Answer that Bungie and Gearbox.
