its not radically different, some of the mods wil prolly be able to be salvaged. besides, h2v might be out by marchish/1st quarter, but the fanbase wont be big enough to even make a mod worth while till at least 2-3 months after it releases, so they have time to prepare. h1ce still has at least 6 months of life left in it.
1. The H2V team said that they are just basically waiting for Vista to come out. Vista comes out in January. The latest this game will come out is Febuary.
2. The fanbase won't be big enough? Seriously, if you don't know what you're talking about, then don't speculate. The mapping tools will be like an upgrade to what HEK has to offer for the modding community in HCE. The CMT team can start working with H2V content when ever they feel like it.
3. Six months puts HPC at, what, May? I seriously doubt the community will have more then 100 people playing HPC and then not even 10 people playing HCE. You just don't get it, do you? Everyone who did anything awesome for HCE is moving on to H2V. What's the sense in making content for an old game when the general population is moving on to the next that offers so much more then HPC did?
