i have Halo 2 on pre-order (who doesn't?), and i'm supposed to get the special edition, right?

well, it turns out that the people i pre-ordered from don't even know about the special edition Halo 2 (f***ing walmart).

i can't decide what to do. i have a senority for the pre-order since halloween of 03, and if i withdraw, i face the risk of having to wait possibly several more weeks before i even get the game. if i don't pull my pre-order, however, i also face the problem with just having the normal, not so cool version. i'll do what ever the poll results say (kinda like the dear abby columns, if you know what that is).

if you have a better idea, then post.

I hate everything, but it's not my fault.

Well first of all, Walmart sucks, and I hate it. Secondly how important is the special edition? I'm not getting the special edition, hell I'm not even preordering it! (That's how much faith I have in Bungie to not underproduce on launch) So I would say, If you really want the special edition, go somewhere else and get it, because I doubt you will have to wait much longer, if you have to wait any longer at all.

Usually beside it on the main page it'll say something like "Free x-Day Shipping!". If I were you, I'd keep the pre-order at Wal-Mart (so you'll get it quickly after Nov. 9th) and if you have another $55, go order the Special Edition from GameStop (that's where I'm ordering mine). Then you'll get the game quick and you'll have the Special Edition (which you can now keep in pristine condition since all you have to pull out is the DVDs, not the game disk).

Still, it's not a predicament I'd like to be in. (although I do wish I had ordered my copy on Halloween last year).

First of all, the special edition copy is very important if you are a true Halo fan. All of the special features on the DVD for only 5 bucks plus the cool aluminum case, how can you ever pass this up. You can make the extra 5 dollars by doing less than an hour of work. Secondly, why wouldn't you pre-order it? You have to pay like 5 dollars down at the order and then pay the remaining cost when you pick it up, and you'll have a guaranteed special edition. I don't see any reason to not pre-order and get the special edition.

i reserved mine at gamestop like a year and a half ago. U can pre-order games at walmart? i didnt know that. anyway y u would want to buy halo 2 from walmart just blows me away. they cant even tell halo 2 from barbie adventures except for the name. a while back i tried to pick up another copy of halo since it went down to $20 or something like that and the guy just looked at me like "what the hell r u talking about boy" lol. So i pretty much always get my games from gamestop now.
