Is it just me, or is the Developer Diary 2 like, completely deviod of any interesting tidbits about the game? Besides the fact that the'yve got some kind of new game lobby that they won't tell us about and the fact that the FAQ will be updated soon, there's really nothing we didn't know.

Bungie likes to keep their fans in suspense.

Keeping in suspense =/= boring to death.

I agree. :P Chances are though when they do release some info worth talking about it will be an immense amount, which will require the FAQ needing an overhaul. I wouldn't mind bit by bit of info.

The few, the proud, the leet.

PC Gamer - new scoop in a month or two
which so far hasn’t left Hired Gun’s offices - things people haven't seen yet
we fixed last-minute bugs - the toolkit isn't buggy at all if it's that quick to patch
we pulled it off with time to spare and were pretty happy with the demo - if devs are pretty happy about it, it's great.
starting from raw geometry and textures produced in 3D Max and Photoshop - good old max
Sapien previews custom work at the same rendering quality as the actual engine - good old Sapien
team’s local Dedicated Server - good old server sided dedicated server meaning no cheating
helpful features for finding the kind of games you want to play - I didn't think it could get more detailed than the PC/CE browser.
review with the infamous Marty - thank god they'll probably up the sound on things that matter
but the mouse and keyboard might be surprisingly popular - they're starting to realize that keyboards pwn controllers.

edit: spelling

Maw

Halo 2 has already been released so they don't have much to keep secret. Whatever they have, they will.
