dude the reason halo 1 was bloody lame ass graphics wasnt because it was converted badly, it because your pc doesnt have the power. now explain to me this; my xbox plays halo with no lag and awesome graphics consistently throughout and "only" has a geforce 3 and 733mhz processor, but to run halo pc you need one of the best graphics cards around with a butt load of ram and an incredibly fast pc and with all that your still gonna have to turn the settings down a bit cos its gonna lag. i'll tell you, its because halo can run on xbox perfectly because everyone has the same specs, nobody's changes therefore it is customized to work on xbox, for pc everything needs to be made in consideration of other systems and specs. and nobody go and blame it on a poor conversion cos if you remember rightly then halo 1 was ported from pc technology to xbox in a harsh amount of time from an older TNT graphics set. halo 2 wouldnt run on hardly any pc's purely because this time it was built specifically for xbox and xbox only, no rehashed pc engine but an xbox engine, to convert that to pc would be incredibly difficult and require a whole reworking of the engine and considering halo 1 on pc doesnt run properly for 95% of people when it was originally made for pc with a pc engine, then think what you need for halo 2 thats built ground up for xbox to work on a pc. and if you think halo 1 is easy to run consider this, they benchmarked the very latest of graphics cards using it. thats how bloody advanced it is so poo on you.
