in the books after MC or john get genetically altered with his bones being practically indestructable and all it states that in the gym it seems that everything moves slower than normal, like he drops a pin and it seems to drop slower than normal he times it and finds out the gee of the place and found it was right and all kinda like spider mans senses maybe a bit faster or slower though. dont you people think something similar be included in halo like while hes fighting they move a bit slower than normal and when hes like walking around everything is fine? no matrix stuff though, would ruin the game (thinks of MC jumping sideways in slowmotion firing 2 smg's then drops it then runs up a wall) *shudders*

i suppose in ways it comes across already. i mean the covenant (as a whole) have heightened senses and in the case of elites are on par with MC anyway so differences are few. marines on Halo 1 have cruddier A.I (i think) so are generally slower and less accurate than MC so surely this shows in ways MC's enhanced senses

I think that would be cool for grunts and jackals, but in the books he is evenly matched with the elites, and the brutes are more than a workout. so I think that it wouldn't be a good idea for in game fighting. but it also talks about this "spartan time" in other scenarios, like when Freds team dropped into reach. So I think it would be cool for certain in-game moments but not during battle.

fuzzy's talkin. the demos would show how cool spartans are but not tinker with the excellent gameplay system. though i'd like to note Elites are way thougher and cooler than Brutes. i think MC just got caught off guard in their first encounter

Zamamee, are you referring to the E3 trailer from 2003? the brutes there were using a grunt's AI (quote Shishka), and will most likely become smarter and more brutal as the game develops. plus, didn't one of the brutes guns rip a spartain in half in the books?

Yea, I don't like the Brutes either. In games, skill should be what matters, not HP. I'll have fun spilling their inferior brains over the Earth pavement. Anyways, I always thought since the Chief is already a lot weaker in-game than in the books that this is a relatively minor facet, but if you watch carefully, you'll see that he has better reflexes than any other human and the Elites are caught off-guard a lot.

i don't dislike brutes, i just think the Elites are cooler. they have energy sheilds and energy swords. i'm aware of brute A.I on e3 but i still think elites will be smarter and thus more challenging

3 shots from their guns tore Grace in half. But those were direct body shots, so it's understandable.

back to the topic. I have read somwhere (i think in an update) of someone working on something like this- "spartan time" as it is said in the books. It did say that whoever was workin on it didnt want to be cliche, or corney. they would do it in an origional way, if at all.

Shes is (was) one of the spartans who had survived the fall of reach. Master Chief runs into her and the rest of the spartans after halo the game.

I think Slow-Mo in battle would be cool! Not like the Matrix! (running up the wall) But just slowing down when a shot goes by your head, or something like that. Just MC getting in the zone!

There was a power-up in Halo 1 that actually made things a little slower and you a little faster and it was for campaign but they did not finish it...

The Master Cheif (John) or Spartan117 was taken as a child at about age 7. Along with about a hundred other children. They were taken via Pelican Dropship to a base on Planet Reach. There they were told what was happening to them. They were taken from their parents and their homes. Never to return again. This was extremly hard for 7 years olds to absorb. Some cried when they heard this news. John did not. Then they were told that the fate of the Human race depended on them. That caught their attention. Then they were no longer sad, but interested. Then they were told about the covenant and how they were trying to find earth. Then tey knew that they had a job to do. John was happy. He had never thought about what he wanted to do when he got older. This was the kind of life he wanted to live. Then after they were told about what was happening to them they got back to training. Then John learned that winning wasn't everything. He learned he had to get his team through things too. He made some friends in training. Kelly, Sam, and a few others. After the vigorous training they were rock hard soldiers. They looked like large teenagers at the age of 8. That was without the augmentations. Then the Spartans were sent to a place to begin the augmentations. They were muscle reformatted and their reflexes sharpened. Their bones were surrounded with a ceramic layer. Though, many Spartans did not survive the augmentations. Some died and some were mutated into unsightly positions. It made John mad that some of his teamates died from an enemy that cannot be fought. There were a significant amount of Spartans left though. John fought many missions with the other Spartans too. Then he suddenly lost all of them. Their numbers dwindled over the years. He lost the last of them, his best friends, on Planet Reach when it was destroyed. Well sorry for basically giving an overview of the whole "Fall of Reach" book. I probably got carried away. Well there you go.
