I dont know about you guys but I think the submitters of these incredible new avatars should get some praise.

What is the reward for creating an avatar that Bungie.net decides to use?

The joy of seeing other people use your avatar is the best feeling one could get, in my opinion, and the best reward.

Thats a good point, I guess its the sort "yay" feeling you get when people comment your "Myspace" (actually im not addicted to myspace).

But is there any official "Bungie" reward, besides their avatar getting submitted.

I think a custom avatar would be fit, or a title that says "Avatar master" like theme master under their name.

(10:19:49 PM) Scruss: oh and pezza, i saw what you did to that cat
(10:20:17 PM) Pezza: You were the one with the video camera breathing heavily. Of course you saw.

So many have been submitted that there really is no point in having titles like they used to. Even then, they never had an avatar title for submitting them.

Chairleg Productions presents: 'Console Wars' and 'Games as Art?' (also on Halo Waypoint).

To be fair, having your own avatar(s) uploaded which you are able to use is good enough (regardless of if it's publicly available or not).

As for the title, well it's possible but i think there's a bit of a difference in making a theme and making an avatar.

That would be cool. There aren't that many people whose Avatars actually made it in. Sure there are near 50 new avatars, but many people claim to have around 10+ avatars make it in, many others got 2-3 in.

It isn't as many people as you probably think.

No offense, but as GP said, it isn't that hard to make an avatar, compared to a theme. Giving them a title seems to go against the way this site works.

Yessir. It's not that hard to take an image already available and resize it into an avatar. If there were to be some type of title given to avatar submitters, then I believe it would have to be given only to those who drew the avatars themselves. Completely original.

dos centavos.

Now, in the quantum moment before the closure, when all become one. One moment left. One point of space and time. I know who you are. You are destiny.

I sure like this new avatars. It was about time they brought up some new ones, the other ones were getting old...

Odd. I always imagined it'd be some sort of feeling, such as a black hole, slowly seeping out your soul at the same rate of the realization that you're hanging out on a site slowly getting taken over by corporations posing as "cool teens" to sell their products.

I guess I was way off.

Um, I don't think any of the avatar submitters should get a large reward.. Praise is good enough. Now, if they made something more substantial, like a group theme, of course they'd get the fancy title and custom avatar, but that's because it's a bit bigger of a thing. It's not hard to crop an image of an elite's head and get it accepted. (If it's high quality and neat.)

Avatar Master Label would be cool, however custom avatar might be too much but still cool.

Maybe I'm just saying that because I got one of mine accepted :)

The Marty Army

Ah, look at the lonely people...

I'm torn between saying, "Yes, give us a title and custom avatar!" and "No, we didn't work hard enough!". I guess I could go a happy medium, give us a title or a custom avatar, but not both. The title would be enough for me. Heck, I'm happy as is. :D

I would never, ever, change my avatar. I love this one with a passion.

Of course if I ever managed to make a theme I'd gladly have it changed to a Stephen Colbert avatar. Until then, though, nothing matters except my awesome cold vengenace avatar.

Too many people to give out "Avatar Master" titles.
