Hey everyone, but doesn't it kinda get ya all nervous that maybe, after bungie made the posponement of halo 2 (Nov. 9) there could be another leak, just like half-life 2? I don't know about you, but im kind of concerned that someone might hack bungie and steal their stuff...

Halo 2 wasn't postponed. But this probably won't happen - Halo 2's stored on an XDK rather than networked PC. Although I suppose hackers could steal a few maps. But the real reason Half-Life 2 was delayed was because it wasn't actually complete.

Bungie is owned by Micro$oft. A software vulnerability in Micro$oft's browser is what made the source code available to the hackers. I recommend Mozilla or Firefox now that Netscape has been bought out by those businessmen at AOL.

Bungie arent owned by microsoft, this is quite obvious, mainly because theyve made games for ps2 and mac.

Yes they made games for PC and Mac, and then Microsoft bought them. That's why they only make Xbox games now. I hate Micro$oft for what they're doing against the open-source community and the centralization of gaming, but at the same time I'm glad Bungie has such a vast reserve of resources behind them since they make or break the Xbox.

The Master Chief emerged from his code. After seeing his dynamically lit realtime shadow, he went back for 9 more months of development.

MS owns them now. Since being bought they have only made Halo for the Xbox and supervised the port the PC and Mac. I don't think they have ever made a PS2 game.
