Heyyo,

The original idea wasn't terrible just has been done a few times before. However the degree to which it has gone off-topic is appauling. This thread is not even on the same planet as the original post. Who is chiefly to blame for this? Master Kim, the original critic of the post. Once again he makes an ass out of himself, only its not funny anymore. Actually it never was funny.
QFT. Sorry Master Kim... you seem very bitter in a lot of threads.... I do remember you've been around for a while. You stressing out over halo? maybe you need a break like I did?

[not sarcasm] I thought of a way Bungie could fix Halo's netcode! It would take almost no time, and it wouldn't cost much either! All they would have to do is release the source code! We could do the rest! [/not sarcasm]
Let's see.. Bungie's history...
Marathon Infinity released October 15, 1996.
Source Code released: ??? 2005?
so almost 10 years or so... So if HaloPC came out in 2003... maybe in 2012 we might see source code? nah, Microsoft's got rights to HaloPC, so highly unlikely... if only the code from delaggonator was added in a HPC patch...
And technically no, Bungie didn't pull the mediphorical "plug" of HPC, they did release a compatibility patch so it would work fine in Vista RC1... they just won't do any patch updates that will require a lot of time, since they're busy with Halo3 and H2V.. potentially other projects (still praying another Marathon game....)
