Sometimes they aren't around to lock threads. They have a life.

I'm glad the Mods act more like humans than robots. Mods are the ones on this whole site, who most of the time, bring some sarcasm and wittiness to these broken down and abandoned threads.

Mods are alot funnier than the average forum-goer

He watches every Hodgetwin video they put up...on ALL their channels. He calls them the Hodge Triplets, and considers himself the 3rd triplet. He's started talking and acting like them now. Every other line out of his mouth "Thaaas some BULLLLLL**** maaayne" or "Gotta make dem gainzzzz". He calls his biceps "gains". When he eats post-workout, he talks to his biceps, "Don't worry gains, I'm feeding you. Daddys gonna feed you, gainz *kisses biceps*".

The Bungie mods are overrated.

<_<

*Waits to be bant/attacked by mod-suck-ups like Sir Brilliant*

I do feel sorry for the mods though. Everyone seems to think that whenver a Mod posts on a thread, then it must be official, when in reality, they just want to discuss.

I guess that's how Brad Pitt feels when he's shopping for bread or adopting immigrants.

Why don't mods that want to socialize just create a second account, use one for being official, and one for socialization?

This is funny coming from the guy who came into a thread where I was debating with achronos for multiple pages to ban me... but that is a differnt discussion. my deal is bias... a perfect example of this is in new mombasa.

Pillage Plunderer was beat in a 1v1 and the thread containing the game was spammed and then locked. Pezza then PMed a user and told her she could re post it, and then posted a warning in the thread.

Acklete was beat in a 1v1, and the thread got 14 intelligent spam free replies, and then it was locked to never be opene again.

Where is the concistancy? Why was this done? How do you explain this clear favoritism?

It was a different moderator for the "Acklete" threads (I think). Different people = different opinions. And those threads kept getting reposted when there was a perfectly postable open one sitting there. That might've been why they were locked.

*Sigh*. This is getting old.

1. I couldn't view the video to tell that it was an attack on Pillage. I simply made decisions based upon the thread content.

2. Squeaky wheel came into play. I posted a warning as the users asked me if I could supervise a reposted version. Once again, I was acting off the thread content not the video content, of which I saw unprovoked flaming of members and the constant feeding of trolls.

3. I will not deny I have favouritism, fortunately that didn't come into play this time. I hadn't talked to Acklete prior to the incident and hadn't talked to Pillage untill he started making accounts like "Acklete F|_|cks Pezza" and so forth.

4. This is a volunteer job, if you think it is by the book, you are wrong. I tell you know you have to make EVERY decision based on gut feeling and there is always someone who disagrees. We can't win.
I couldn't even ban a spammer who has made 50 diffirent spam accounts without being accosted by people who have no concept of the external. Hard to maintain consistency when every incident and ever user is not uniform.

But please, by all means, continue to debase me, the only thing that stands between this community and utter chaos. I wonder how many people would complain if we suddenly walked off the job?
