Well, I asked Yoozel if there was a way to tell when Moderators/Admins/ect. were on so that when you need to get in touch with one, it would increase the chances of the problem/situation getting handled a lot faster.

He says there currently isn't, and that I should suggest it on the this forum. So, do you all think it'd be a good idea to have a way of knowing which moderators are currently cover the forums of this site so that we who can deal with situations?

Thanks in advance for your responces =]

I guess that could work, well it's basically the same type of thing I was asking for =]

I agree. It would save anyone reporting a thread a lot of trouble as well as the mods. If you have the mods on your MSN messenger list you can always see if they are online on there, but not everyone has that privelage. I hate to report things to every mod, in hope that one of them is online, so a listing of online moderators would help a bunch.

I need Reiginko and Sigma and Shishka. I'm not holding my breath though. ;)

But that's the specific reason I have them, in case something happens that needs the attention of a moderator.

But I can help a bit - Unless and until we have some sort of online indicator for a particular moderator, there are still a couple ways to get in touch should a semi emergency arise.

IRC - If Shishka is online, you will generally see him in #7thColumn, on the irc.subnova.com server. #CFounders is stosh's stomping ground, and you can find Yoozel there from time to time as well. Remember, similar rules apply to IRC as to here. Double click their name, and send them a Private message, detail the problem, and supply a link for them.

Also HFCS has a database for people to submit problem threads to. I don't know if it currently works, with the new hotness, but last I heard, Achronos was working on it.

Be careful out there.

I'm thinking it wouldn't be a bad idea if there was a list at the top of the forums or on the right side that told which moderators were on, kind'a like the old version of Bungie.net where it told if people were online or not..
