You think it got what it takes to be..?.

God forbid you send me one of those I was checking for cool gamers and saw you messages too, I will scream to the top of my lungs and smash this damn screen/BlackBerry to pieces! You've been warned -_-

Even though you are not promoting a Chapter, you should've post it in the classifieds because this is a "Extra, Extra, Read all about it..." thing.

This contest would work fine, I'd certainly enter my chapter, but I have to agree with the above.

Hi. I am writing to you on behalf of the leaders of the Septagon Tournament, hosted and sponsored by Popular Fusion!

We are holding a Bungie-wide Halo 2 tournament on Xbox Live. Dates have not been set, but expect it to start soon after Thanksgiving.

The premise is simple, each group will field a team that, over the course of about a week, will play other groups to crown one champion. There are no prizes (damn!) except for having the title as the biggest baddest group out there when it comes to Halo 2. Come to think of it, that is a pretty sweet prize!

Your group will need a team spokesman, either the leader or founder, or someone else who will be in charge of gathering a team, getting their information(gamertags, when they can play, holding practices, making sure you team gets their for the match etc).

This leader will join Septagon Tournament. This group, for purposes keeping things organized, is for the leaders of group teams only. One backup leader may join if the group wishes to do so.

General Rules:
Teams must be at least 4 players strong. There is no maximum of players who can be on the roster. (well, i guess however many are in the group is the limit. Cause otherwise, thats well, impossible. The last thing you want to do in this tourney is something that is impossible)
No cheating! This means no superbounces, no greifing, no BxR and of course, no Standby/Modding.
You may play for one team/group only. NO EXCEPTIONS!

Set up: The group leader must post the names and gamertags of everyone that might play for them in the Septagon Tournament group (see above). When we get all of the entries in, we will set up a tourney.

It will be a 2^n team bracket (i.e 8, 16, 32, 64 etc). Teams will randomly be seeded, 1- last. If there is not a nice number (like 8, 16, 32, 64 etc) there will be play in games. The rest of the tourney will proceed like the NCAA March Madness works. Early round meetings will be 1-3 games, while late rounds may be up to a 5 game series.

Byes, if they occur, will be given on a random basis.

So please discuss this in your group. Tell your group about it! Ask any questions you may have here, or PM me.

I really hope you all want to participate in this, if not for yourself, for your group!
