No.

Overzealous groups like MBT, Popular Fusion, and ODST Recon would PM their members like there was no tomorrow. MBT especially, since they have a little...'history', to say the least here.

who cares, if the people are members of the group, if anything, it will only hurt us.

and yay, we werent the ones with, 'history' for once!

For the record, i'd piss my self silly if there was an Armatik action figure.

"Lazy -zapp!-, what the hell are you doing playing with me? Get to work lazy ass."

Popular Fusion has had history with Mjolnir Battle Tactics as well. Infact, that history got so out of hand that a few mods had to step in to make it die down.

Nice try.

SPOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!

He (the thread maker) covers overzealous groups in his original post. The idea was, if a group incessantly spam PM's their members, they will simply leave. I don't know how committed you all are to your chapters; but if one of mine annoyed me via constant PM's, I would tell them to go to hell, and then leave.

MY goal is to just alert members of what is going on, say once a month. I do not intend to spam, as I hate that, and have left groups before because of it. But one PM a month from a group? That's not too bad, now is it?

If people get too annoyed by PMs from groups then they should just leave or block the admin. Of course we'll just have to hope they took their pills for their allergy to text....

A chapter PM button would be awesome.

Exactly. If the member doesn't like it, they can just block the admin.

All proceeding arguments end with a "yay" or a "nay" regarding the PM All Members Button...

YAY!

"And so here at the end of my life, I do once again betray a former
master. The path ahead is fraught with peril. But I will do all I can
to keep it stable - keep you safe. I'm not so foolish to think this
will absolve me of my sins. One life hardly balances billions. But I
would have my masters know that I have changed. And you shall
be my example." -Mendicant Bias

An absolutely brilliant idea August. It would certainly be very handy. However, limitations should be imposed and should only be given to Full Control members.

This is a great idea, Mr. August.

I can already see how such a thing could be used. Full-Control users would instantly have it as part of their security role, and when they made new roles they could add it to them as well. The uses for such a thing would be endless. It would be a perfect tool for getting any sort of information out to your members that are less frequently active in your forums, and it could be used to, as August said earlier, as wake up calls for your inactive members.

That's a good idea, that I already use. Another thing to do, is have a poll. The Poll comment is "Post here," and you can see how many people voted. Then, also have them just post something that has to do with Halo, Halo 2, or Halo 3.
