Exactly, releasing something for free download means giving you the right to use it. That's like giving someone something for free then accusing them of stealing.
Also, how exactly does a map get 'leaked'? I t sounds to me more like the map was intentionally released for beta, then this guy decided he wanted to make money off it and so decided he did want people using the one he'd already given out.
By the way, I believe that since Bungie or Gearbox own the copyright to Halo CE, you can't legally make money from a map you created for it. Mods have to be free unless you organise a deal with the game maker, like Counter Strike and Half Life.
Either way, what kind of moron charges for a Halo map? You can't possibly sue anyone for using it anyway.
Oh and I agree with Leoht about Halo CE. I have over 100 maps, and never ever found a virus or adware.
