there should be a Halo Pc/Mac update that allows you to talk with a mic, and be able to typem if you do not have a mic, like in Delta force 2!
I would like the game alot more if it had that!

erm, you can already type in multiplayer games? press T, or to only speak to your team, press Y (I've seen the other team's plans transmitted to everyone because some people don't know about the Y = Team Only thing...)

another good idea would be to add a friends or buddy system in the halo server browser so players can join or talk to they're friends!

This has been proposed a million times before. Gearbox has reported back that it is unfeasible. It's a very typical answer for many of the suggestions made by users.

I'm not sure if anyone has ever suggested this as an update idea, but what about allowing more players in a game? I've heard of unsuccessful 32-player mods, I wonder has anyone ever made one work? I realise that only certain maps would be enjoyable with so many players, and that only dedicated servers could handle the load, but it still sounds like fun. Imagine Death Island with 16 per team. Nice.

Heyyo,

Tribes 2 is up to 60 players, and it's freeware now boys. ;)

And btw, you can use a buddy system and voice chat on halo, and any game, anytime. It's called XFire (An im program that you can use to join games easy) and TeamSpeak (a massive voice chat program, I think it goes up to 1000 people at 1 time, crazy eh?

So yeah, for games without built in voice chat, just get TeamSpeak. And to join your buddies games with 1 click of the mouse? just use xfire.
