Doesn't it feel like it's been a long time since the third Bathroom Reader came out. It's been over a month now, and we really haven't heard much from GameJunkieJim. Has it been canned?

You people have just sent my sides into orbit. A bunch of MLG try hards sucking the dick of some supposed pro half the thread hasn't even heard of. Classic.

They get tons of submissions and have to go through all of them. Also setting this up takes a lot of work and I Jim is a busy man with work, a wife, and little GameJunky's to look after. If it has been canned Jim would be on the forums letting us know. Just give it some time. I am sure it will be out before you know it.

What's the bathroom reader?

Such words were never meant for ears.

Cleanse yourself.

Last I checked, he was interviewing Slipstream Productions, the creators of the shut-down Halogen project.

The fanart submissions have gone down a lot (apparently) because being showcased by Bungie on the front page of their site seems to be a little more inviting than in a fan made mag.

And fanfic is down because people aren't creative.

I need to get my scanner up and running to submit my art. That's too bad that there's no more fan fiction.

I PM'd Jim about this a couple days ago and have not got a reply since. I think we peeps should come up with some other stuff besides fanfic's and fanart to put in this magazine. I mean, its OUR magazine that Jim puts together for us. I was coming up with some other stuff, but when I saw all those fanfics taking precedent, I kinda lost interest. What with the font being hard to read and all.

My bro is gonna do a full-scale painting(on canvas, not paper) of a Master Chief for me/us. We are working on figuring out what pose and weapons we want in it. He's got teh mad art skillz. He did a Maynard J. Keenan/Billy Howerdel portrait for me for my birthday last year and it's museum-worthy. Really. Once done, perhaps I'll submit it for the Reader.

What can we add besides fanfics and pictures?

Fake interviews, articles on current events (*cough* EGM stuff *cough*), perhaps comics or more fake advertisements?

There's got to be more we can add. It's not much of a magazine if all it has is big novels and a few pictures.

In a nutshell, Jim is addicted to the new Phantasy Star MMO (and I'm kind of addicted to Final Fantasy XI MMO since the xbox release).

I haven't had all the things sent to me yet so Acreon and myself can put it all together into the finished file. However, there's a Slipstream (makers of Halogen) interview which I have read and can tell you it's quite interesting. We have some art bits to include also.

Jim needs more written stuff *besides fan-fics*, please PM them to him, (or maybe me if he's completely addicted to that cursed game). I personally prefer putting together several unique articles as opposed to pasting a million fan-fics. So, I think I'll ask Jim about cutting the criteria to only very unique fan-fics. I'm sure Jim should have a better explanation of things as I am but a simple pawn.

Now that you've taken the time to look at my sig, I actually regret not providing you with something more worthwhile.

Do you fellas accept nude photoshoots? If so, then I have some pics of me I need to send ya. Nothing makes a magazine more inviting than a naked fat guy.

Definately. We'll keep that in mind for the "Hardcore" issue.

That would be great.

Sorry if you've sent me a PM I haven;t replied to, I've been working and looking for submissions.

YES EVERYONE, it is your fanzine. You write it, we collect it in a nice format. SEND IN STUFF!

Sorry about the length in between issues, but we're getting a relative trickle of submissions. If you don't have Outlook or Thunderbird or another mail client then just send your submission to jumpersbathroomreader@gmail.com.

Yes, the fanzine is taking a while. Don't think you're interested in excuses so I'll not make any. It is coming.

Chris547 charges me for the web space so I'm damn well gonna use it. =)

I'm very glad there is interest. It's coming, dare I say it? Soon™
