Adamant isn't even the correct word to use. As for water vehicles; no, the idea is retarded. Welcome to the space age; water vehicles are completely useless.

How many maps will there be in Halo 2 that would use such vehicles? probably none right?

I'm sorry, but making a whole new thread for some idiotic, half brained idea is just Larper Lame. So STFU already, no one wants to hear about your dumbass ideas.

Sounds fesable, but this the thousandth time I've seen this thread so yeah. May I make a suggestion a vehicle, an armoured speed boat with dual chain guns or a gauss hog or rocket hog turret. Sorry if gauss is spelled wrong.

I wonder if the Wolf thinks the Moon listens when he howls at it.

Yeah and Banshees are [sarcasm]technically[/sarcasm] water vehicles too, since they fly over it.

Seriously, a water vehicle is pointless in a game like Halo. If the Marines ever wanted a quick evac or a way to get to the designated LZ, they'll use the Pelican transport vehicles. We're not talking about the Navy here.

Yes, Pet0sh is right. I was like, "Wtf, ghosts don't float over water, they go right through it in Death Island!"

And the Marines are, well, Marines! They're trained to fight in land, sea, and air (not so sure about that last part, but remember, it's 2252)!

If you think about it, water vehicles would only be useful in huge water maps. And so they would only be implemented if there were enough of these huge water maps. Also, the fact that they're water vehicles would imply that you are going over some deep water, otherwise they'd be useless. What happens when you decide to exit the water vehicle to evade a sniper? You fall down and walk on the bottom of the ocean for 14 minutes, to get back to shore? Or you have something stupid like that one map in halo 2 where you fall for eternity and die? So the whole middle of the map would be a death zone?

Not to mention, there's no point considering how in the Halo games, Master Chief can go deep into the water (Silent Cartographer) for quite a while until he's like six feet under. He's still alive, he doesn't mind the Big Ol' Blue, so why would he need a water vehicle?

The few, the proud, the leet.

water vehicles simply wont happen unless the map made for them is specially tailored to make it appear they're a water vehicle. Nothing floats in Halo because the water isn't collideable. If it was, everything would stay ontop of it and walk or ride over it.

Remember island hop or whatever that two island map with boathogs was? Those hogs were made to appear a hundreds of meters off the ground. That's why the edges of the islands were soo steep and the water was as deep as it was.
