Though the Quadroplex is a beast of a machine, it's not really meant for gaming.

Gaming Systems:
Intel Core i7 720QM (4 cores, 8 threads)
4Gb DDR3-1333mhz
1Gb AMD Radeon HD 4650
Windows 7 64bit

Xbox 360 w/ 20Gb HDD (2008 edition) & XBL Gold.

Lol, i'm gunna be the first person to answer the actual question properly. I would imagine a minimum will be the Geforce 6200 or Radeon 9700. There may even be support for Intel's new GMA3000, which supports DX10 (will do when drivers come out), but that's a bit sketchy at the moment.

God I want that card....
But I think anyone that ran Halo PC should be able to run H2v. It's a port for a 2 year old X-box game, it shouldn't take much to make your graphics look decent. But running at 1900 x 1200 with all the specs up, thats gonna take the 8800.

How much money do you have to spend?

The statement about running H2V if you can run Halo PC is not necessarily true. I'd imagine the minimum specifications to be bumped up a bit for a game that is more graphically demanding as the aesthetic appeal is higher.

For under $200, I'd recommend the X1950 Pro. Amazing deal. For $150 and under, the 7600GT and down to the 7300 if you're on a tighter budget.

Way to hijack the thread. You even changed the subject title, good for you. [/sarcasm]
Your computer is NOT ultimate ready, unless you have a VERY early release DX10 vid card and drivers. Anyway, H1PC is already practically dead, as in no updates, so I doubt Bungie will release a patch to make it compatible with Vista. If it even isn't. Notice the MAY in there?

Here you will need this to help you get your foot out of the back of your throat, looks llike its in there pretty deep. And what is that on your face? Egg?! *hands Kim a washcloth*

You dont need a dx10 card for vista ultimate, I do not know where you get this crap from. And halo should autoupdate for vista, although it does crash the first time you run it.
