you think a spoof youtube article backs up your argument? laughable.
could i not equally say that everybody i know in the academic world (and almost every media department) uses Macs? i could (and wouldnt be lying either) but it's hardly a strong case. Being such a lover of youtube as you seem to be, search for the presentation bill gates gave about XP, and laugh when it crashes in front of the audience. genius.
A machine is only as good as its operator.
The YouTube video didn't back up my arguement at all; I felt like posting it and I did.
As for your, "an operating system is as good as its operator" arguement, obviously not true. A chimpanzee can work a Mac. All you literally have to do with a Mac for it to crash while working on a program is do exactly that; work on the program. Just use it and it will crash. Schools, especially design schools, will go with Macs as their computer programs because, as I said, Mac gives them a better deal. I worked for a graphic business card designer and all he had were Macs. Want to know what he used at home to work on? A PC. All I remember at his job was hearing from co-workers were swears when the Mac just "unexpectedly quit." Also, once again, your whole "operator" theory isn't applicable; these were college graduates with at least a B.A. in graphic design; you believe they didn't know a Mac inside out, then you need some help. Over all, the Mac is an inferior computer. Period.
