well i was watchin some halo ce vids on halo-pro.com n well there is some stupid kills. I think it was with rippon because he was shooting his sniper rifle in a wall 10 ft from him n the guy like 5 ft from the shot dies. imm srry to say this but wtf is up wit that. also the pistol had too much leading. one time was when a guy was running stright at the player and well the player shot near him and killed him. dont get me wrong i love halo ce but that leading was too much. plus isnt this supposed to be like future so why would a weapon need that much leading at close range. please dont flmae im just wonderin if pple agree with me that leading was a little too much

Those kills are anything but stupid (although some may be luck), the reason they have to lead is because they're playing online over xbc and there is some lag issues with the server they're in. Basically, if you play halo online, you have to deal with that sometimes, if you're good enough however (like many of those players featured on halo pro) the lag isn't even that much of an issue. Once you figure out how much lag there is, you have to lead the target somewhat to compensate. However, if they were playing at a LAN or on the same box, they wouldn't have to lead a target like that.

If you think that's bad, try Halo PC. Even when you're playing on a LAN, the netcode is so horrible that people still face latency, and still have to lead, when they shouldn't have to.

Never played halo PC but i will never get my head round the fact a pistol can kill in three shots and has a -blam!-loada autoaim

That is what makes me hate the pistol.

see i didnt mind the pisol. my thing is now is that halo ce people always talk bout auto aim. isnt the fact that the shots near the body still hit even though the person is running straight do the same thing? so basically im saying that auto aim is persent in halo even though it might not be seen to the eye.

Trust me, without autoaim, even some of the best of players would be horrible. I've played modded versions where they eliminated nearly all of the autoaim and it's nearly impossible to shoot anybody. If you want to test it for yourself, get 3 people, 2 of which are on the same team, and have the two people on the same team try shooting eachother. It's quite difficult (especially in closer ranges).
