Just wondering if people will tell me what they think of my Fable 2 ideas:

- Set it in the future instead of the past, like after a nuclear war.
-Upgrade the character development system so you get to pick certain things first (sex, height, weight, skin tone etc) but keep the original aswell, so it makes even more of a diversity between all characters and NPC's.
-Make more of a group aspect, like the ability to start a Guild, or join one, to get people to help and follow you.
-Make more skills able to be learned (like lockpicking, silent killing etc), also physical and magical abilities (duel wielding, combining spells etc).
-Make the personality part less black and white, not just leaning towards good and evil, like an assassin who has morals and honour would still be seen as slightly good.
-Make a huge map, one that you cant possibly just walk everywhere on.
-Make NPC's even more reactionary, some towns might not like you, or even block you out of, while others like you, also not whole towns would like you, maybe just neighbours of your home.
-Design alot of giant battles that you can choose to help in, castle sieges and things like that.

Tell me what you think...

I'll be on my own side.

Nuclear war? in Albion?

Hmm... A post-apopcalyptic Fable, that would be great.

I've got a problem with your first idea. You cannot have Fable 2 take place after a nuclear war. Fable's timeline at the most would be in Medievil Europe. The rest of your ideas are decent, I suppose. Some of them don't seem like Fable though.

I wasn't to sure about the first one either, but i thought i'd put it in to see how people reacted! How long did it take people to complete Fable with all 4 endings? I only took 5 days!

2 for evil, 2 for good, both get to choose whether to keep the sword or throw it, endings dont differ much!

I think simply, it would be great with a Morrowind style world (massive, and infinitly explorable) but with the combat style of Fable, with some improvements of course. More social interactions are needed and i definatley want more personal "look" options (i hate going bald when im evil! lots of evil villans have long hair!)

I personally, would like to see a open-spaced rpg, set in a post-apopcalyptic future. Say... A mix of Morrowind and Fallout.

That sounds great, but I wouldn't make it "Fable 2", i'd make it something new, but it would sell brilliantly!

It took me a week to complete fable 4 times, with each different ending.

Don't you think its short?

Morrowind was too hard. try a mix of Fable and something...else.

If it was set in a post-apocalyptic time, then I don't think the name Fable would suit it very well, but all the other ideas sound pretty good.

Yeah me too. the game was fun and exciting but it was way to easy. The first time i played it i was an evil fighter and i didn't die once. And the last boss was incredibly easy. All you had to do was roll around him and he couldn't hit you.

it's impossible to be damaged while rolling. saved my life more than once.

first Private Simmons, dod u realize that Simmons' name is Dick Simmons,Richard Simmons.

Now anyway Fable 2 should allow you to roam freely, have more weapons and armor, and more gameplay.

By the way you can sell Fable for $33 at Gamestop, I did.

Red versus Blue.

The problem with Fable was after you kill "Jack of Blades", you get alot of renown yet you get no more sidequests, it would have made sense if people would keep sending you sidequests, to emphasize how big a hero you are! Also theres not much you can do after you've killed him, all you can do is walk around and kill the few enemies left! I mean you can still do the "Sword in the Stone" thing, but you should be able to do stuff like go into the Arena again, or like I mentioned, get given more sidequests! What you all think?

Yeah, all of your ideas are good except for the first (what?).

In addition:
Dialog Tree Conversations.
Mounts.
Online Multiplayer (at least Coop).
A larger world. This means more than four towns, fields, and no fences. I want to be able to wander and get lost.
More abilities (I cant beleive that there wasnt a lockpick skill).
More side quests. Like five times as many.
A longer game. I want at least 30 hours of solid gameplay in the main quest. I dragged out the story in Fable and just got 15 hours out of it the first time.
Using will ages you very slightly. My character had white hair like an hour after I completed the guild training.
More Npc's that are unique. And the generic Npc's should have names too.
Sandgoose.

Besides these faults, I still really liked Fable. The leveling up system ruled.

I hope some dev comes by and reads this stuff.
