Subject: Bungie

It is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who has given us the freedom to demonstrate. It is the soldier, not the lawyer, who has given us the right to a fair trial. And it is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves the flag, whose coffin is draped in the flag that allows the protester to burn the flag.Father Dennis Edward O'Brien, USMC

December 2004.

I didnt find Bungie, it found me.

And I joined because i wanted to tell Sir Brilliant that his book was gonna get him sued.

The day after I bought Halo 1 I read the forums, which was the Truth and Reconciliation at the time, however I did not register. A day after Halo 2 was released I became a member, and that lasted like a year, then I lost interest in Halo 2, and my account was de-activated. Then at the beginning of this summer I re-joined for Halo 3. So, I've only been a member for like, a year and a half, but reading the forums for around 3 years.

Found this site in the Halo 1 manual, then joined after bungie showed that trailer of Halo 2.

If you don't got it, you want it. If you got it, you want more of it. Of course if you don't know what it is, it's hard to get any in the first place.

I finally bought Halo, and was reading through the final back page, with credits and listings etc.

It was a nice personal note from Bungie, discussing their love of great games, and using the money from those games to take over the world.

I was hooked.

I wanted the "Bungie.net" Logo behind my gamertag. A friend of mine told me to go here.

The rest, as they say, is history :-)

I originally started coming here when Tru7th and Reconciliation was up. So, that was...2001? 2002? I would read the forums, but never did join until 9/17/2004.

Hated by many, confronted by none.

Found Bungie by kicking Tartarus' ass and got to see the end credits (that's how I found Red vs. Blue too)

I came on March 8th 2003. I saw b.net in the booklet that came with Halo, and decided to check it out. I some how found the 7th column and was hooked ever since. Of course I have had a few instances where I have had to change my name(a few accidental deletions of my passport account), but in the end I'm the same person that came along looking for some halo tips and found this place.

I have been here nearly a year.

I remember simply going to Bungie.net after reading the Halo 2-thingy over live. I was bored and it sounded cool. But I actually post more than once a day, and have posted here every day with the exception a couple day here and there (no more than seven). I have no life.

I used to play Oni. Still under-rated.

(10:20:17 PM) Pezza: You were the one with the video camera breathing heavily. Of course you saw.

Around a year and a half, this acount is pretty recent though considering i made it a few months after I made my Xbox live gamertag with the same name.

I'm not sure what to say. I made my first account back in 2004. I went inactive after a year and started back up again 2006.

I basically missed 2005.

Prognatus Archos

In this account I have been a member a little over 5 months. However, originally I had an account back 2 years before halo 2 came out. (In the old bungie.net) I was not real active in the community, I still remember having to post in the underground about halo 2. However, once halo 2 came out I went inactive, and my account was deleted for inactivity. About 5 months ago I rejoined, and started posting in the halo 2 forums again. A few weeks later I became active in the community; I now help manage a somewhat large chapter, and I have a group of my own.
