Ok, I've noticed alot of important people are from or around Seattle, WA. Is Bungie located around there or is something important around there or am I just crazy?

Microsoft is based there, and since Bungie is basically owned by Microsoft, they are there too.

I work at Microsoft. I have nothing to do with Halo and nothing I say is "the official word".

Redmond, WA, about 20 minutes away, is the headquarters of Microsoft and Bungie.
And of me. woot.

(Not even "technically", bungie hq is here)

Actually their office is in Kirkland... Which is only 2 hours down from me...

Yeah, they technically did that whole "move" thing, so they're not really in redmond anymore. But it sounds better anyway.

Seattle's much more important than that. It has ummm....uh...Starbucks?

Well, it's nickname is "where the sun don't shine." Which is why I always get confused when people tell me their going to stick their paper in Seattle. Not much of a threat.

Ah, and the awesome weather!

I live in Washington, we just tell the Californians that the weather's crappy to keep them from moving here.

Bungie moved to Redmond from Chicago after Microsoft bought them. Then moved a short distance to Kirkland Washington for more space. Redmond and Kirkland are right next to each other.

Seattle's east side is home to many technology companies, kinda like a little silicon valley. Throw that in with Starbucks, Microsoft, Boeing, REI, Wharehouser and you've got yourself a very important part of the country.

That absolutely no one wants to visit.

I'd thank you very much not to ruin my stereotype of Washington. It's good for too many jokes.

If you don't got it, you want it. If you got it, you want more of it. Of course if you don't know what it is, it's hard to get any in the first place.

Also consider that Nintendo is here. Seattle > Everywhere.

Now if you've excuse me, I need to get buy a canoe. If the next rain storm is as bad as the last one, we may be in trouble. After all the last one did last a whole month.

That's because we don't treat tourists very well Mabian. We pay no taxes, we raise all our state and local money through the tourism industry. For example, it would cost you $10 to go up the Space Needle............................$5000 to get down.

Hold on a second, Tex. Over here in Spokane, we get some (and by some, I mean none) of the benefits of living in Washington, and we have that little city feel (probably because it is a little city.) Most importantly, if we want, we can drive to Seattle in only 6 hours. Yes, only!

Location: Outlaws' Summit.

The weather's terrible up there at times. I remember at the beginning of the year, it rained up there for 23 days straight (broke a record.)

But Bungie's up there, so it's all good. It must be a pretty cool place to work. Speaking of which, we need more video podcasts of what's going on in Washington (state.)

It's more of a light dewy mist, refreshing and invigorating.

To be fair, I meant the area as a whole. Yes Spokane is the under appreciated bro in the family.... while Kirkland has a whole "Youngest child" feel to it.

And Weggie is absolutely correct in calling it a Dewy Mist.

It's a mountainy dewy sierra mist. Okay Maybe not sierra...more like ..some other kind of local mist?

Strange evolution how people have come to believe
That we are it's greatest achievement
We're barely, we're just a collection of cells
Overrating themselves

Seattle, WA is also one of the few American cities that can simultaneously be destroyed by tsunamis, earthquakes, and volcanos.
