We all know Halo 2 is merging very soon, and I was wondering which of the following options is the best answer? San Andreas comes out in two days. That gives me a week just to totally dedicate my free time to that. I haven't read the Halo books, but I have purchased them. Should I spend my time prior to the release reading the books and furthering my understanding of the Halo universe, or should I spend it wreaking havock among the thousands of San Andreas?

Prep for Halo 2. Your time will be that much more well spent doing that. I really think that is best. The reason is that you will know the intermediate story between the games and will understand the game better.

I'll be on my own side.

if youre not sure which to choose between San andreas or Halo 2,you shouldnt be asking people on this forum, because you already know what theyre going to say

Read the books. You can always play San Andreas when it's ported to the Xbox at some other time, but knowing more about the Halo universe and the Master Chief is really cool stuff.

That doesn't really apply in this case. It's not asking about the gaem itself, more of a storyline. San Andreas would not doubt be more fun, but reading the story would probably help me catch little secrets in the game. That's why I was at this dilemma. I'd have more fun playing San Andreas, but I couldn't educate myself on Halo's rich history. So, I guess I'm going to start reading those books.

I'm kinda sick of GTA games, they all seem so similar to me, I'll wait till a few months after Halo 2 to get GTA: SA

Read the books.

If you concentrate, you can feel your IQ drop when you play GTA.

ooo, cos shooting ppl is so much different than shooting aliens... and that by playing Halo2 that somehow makes you an interlectual.

I say go by San Andreas. why wouldnt you want to play one of the sickest games of the year? even if it is only for a week.
