Hmm ok well it's certainly a good idea, it's currently 264 maps, including old and new versions of some maps. Basically it means you'll never be booted from a server for not having a map. It claims to be every map released as of 2 days ago. So that's cool.

BTW I have 1MB/s broadband, which normally allows download speeds of 120+ KB/s, but for some reason this site is limiting me to 30KB/s and so it's going to take 12 hours to download. That sucks ass because if they let me have full bandwidth I could have it in like 3 hours (Maths: 30kbps = 12 hours, 120kbps / 30 kbps = 4, 12 hours / 4 = 3 hours). And who says gaming limits the mind?

It sped up to about 50kbps later on, must have had less people using it by then. 5 hours in total. WORTH IT.

But, back up your sidewinder.map file before installing the one which comes with the map pack. It doesn't work, because whoever made it didn't change the name of their map. Failure to back up makes the current version of sidewinder unavailable for playing, and no you can't copy/paste from Halo's map files.
