I was just wondering if anyone has changed the xbox emblem in the controller. I have seen that they did it at red vs blue. I didn't know how hard it is to do. If anyone has done it or knows how to do it can you please tell me.

its a b1atch. don't try it unless you want to mess up your controller. you have to peel back the plastigel coating from underneath the surface of the controller. tough cookies. then its all sticky and discolored. DON"T TRY IT!!

I bought the Limited Edition Green Halo Xbox, with Green Halo S Controller. Has the Halo 1 logo instead of the Xbox logo in the center

I didnt find it hard at all. After unscrewing the controller, you hold the top half in your hands and twist it back and forth a couple times until the bubble pops off. It didnt do any damage to my controller. Oh, and If you have an extra controller thats broken or something, you can take the analog stick with the bigger thumb cup on it, and replace it with the smaller one on yours. It just feels better when their both the same size for me. Try it, youll see.

I guess I might try it out on a broken controller first and see how it works.

Does anybody find that the wire that goes to the controller to the xbox eventually breaks. I don't mean snaps in two, but the plastic coating comes off and the wire frays a little.

This is usually because of wrapping the wire around the controller but I know for a fact that I never did it with my controller (I learnt my lesson with the PS1). Instead of wrapping the wire around the controller I carefully wrap it round my hand and when I reach the controller, tape it securely to itself and the control.

I had that happen to my sega genesis controllers. My playstation controllers were fine and I abused them and wrapped em around the controller. I make sure to keep my xbox controllers good. I keep them wrapped the way they came out of the box and i have a velcro tie that i use to keep the cord together. I have had my controllers for 2.5 years and they are fine.
