listen man seriously, i didnt have to check if it was halo 2, must be stupidity, i played halo 2 yesturday and the detail and everything has increased but ounce again, these are not, final proper in game shots its such an early taster why judge so harshly when this isnt anywhere near the final product. i mean for -blam!- sake i think your moniter must be -blam!- if everything looks bland on it, because when i look i can see a lot of detail in the walls and his armour i know its not the most amasing looking thing..yet, i had my concerns but why keep going on and on and on and on why noit wait..if to you it still looks like halo 2 then fine..but id wait, i doubt these maps have been completly finished, they need to give us something fast for the novemeber suprise even if that meant unfinished work. give it time.
and you dont work at bungie how the hell would you know you dont know what there doing so stop whining, i know these are disapointing but i mean give it the benefit of a doubt at the moment, and i have seen these on HD screens and my moniter is also HD and the screen look better, ill agree, it has halo 2 qualities, but it not finished non of it is, be happy with what there showing at the moment. and you cant say that campaign pic look like halo 2 i dont think it does at all, you can see much detail in his armour, and the walls and iron bars look or remind me of half life 2 qualities. so stop judging so harshly so soon just....wait..i wasnt impressed either, perhaps to much gears of war probubly, but i know it will deliver something. just give it time man seriously unless you have a really -blam!-e moniter which makes the pics blurry?

I'm a little confused. The graphics in the screens have reflective armor and face mask so basically all thats missing is some detail in the ground and some dust in the wind and everyone would be happy with the graphics?
Because the spike grenades look great and the ghost is already pimped out and the frag and plasma explosions got an overhaul so who needs anything more than a pimped out ghost?
It doesn't actually look like an Xbox 360 game. In fact, many (including me) had to double check that it wasn't actually Halo 2 on the Xbox. The Visors don't seem to be reflective at all in the multiplayer, the textures in the game are exactly the same as in Halo2 and the environments, albeit quite large, look very bland. This might be down to Halo 3 being in early stages of development but one thing is clear, if Bungie built Halo 3 on a new engine, these in-game shots would look much much better.
