Ok guys, sorry for the multiple thread, but I feel that if I ask 3 questions at once in just one thread, nothing's going to get answered.

Anyways, I was typing in stuff in DS v1.02 console 1, and after I X'ed it out, I restart the Dedicated Server, to check if my Server information was saved. But it isn't!!! The information is back to the old "sv_name: Halo_DS", and the original gametypes, etc. How do I save all my typed server info in there???

Thanks for any kind of help. And please excuse my ignorance. But I am in great need of help right now, or else my head is going to explode from all the pissed-off mood I'm storing in while working on the server.

I'm not sure what the HELL you mean by that, but I can't. After I type in everything, and X it out, then restart it, the whole thing clears out, and returns back to the retarded default name, gametypes, etc.

I'm sorry if I sound really impatient today, I'm having one of the worst day/Thanksgiving of my life. Nothing is going right, Dedicated server, my friend not contacting me to know where we're going to meet, my cousins coming over in a few hours, my aunt occupying the TV, so I can't watch the rest of Black Hawk Down, etc. Something better go right, and that something better be the dedicated server.

You don't enter dedicated server information at the console. You open up Notepad, type it in there, then save it as a file called "init.txt" in your server's install directory. The server will then access this file upon startup and take on whatever configurations you've defined within.

For detailed instructions, go into your dedicated server's install directory and open up the file called "Readme.rtf," which will have everything to get you started with your DS.
