The weekly update from Bungie hints at two new guns, a character and a vehicle, these have already been discussed... Bungie also hinted at slow-mo action, they said they could do it but didn't want to if it loked tacky, so Im guessing it s no-no, always looks a bit cleched for me. So Im just curious as to what people think this possible spinoff might be, my guess would be some kinda space flight sim, or startegy, maybe planet bound or space bound.... What do you guys think?

A halo strategy game would be fun but unlickely, plus they said that they could do slo-mo if they wanted to and they said that if they did use it (which is unlickeley) that they would use it in a unique way and not like other games.

It wouldn't be fun. I want a game thats like Halo, not a game thats like Max Payne or some other crazy game with slow-mo. Not to get all P.O. at you either but unlickley is unlikely right? Just wandering what the word is there, getting a bit confused by it.

I would think Slo-mo would be ok but like maybe in a cutscene. Something like a bullet whizing past his head.

I'm fairly sure they were referring to a slow motion cutscene tool.

Slow motion used in cutscenes can still be cool. Slow motion in gameplay is overused, somewhat tacky, and has only ever been pulled of succesfully by the Max Payne series.

It was network guy Chris Butcher working on it though...
