KOTOR | The WarriorsI'll chain you to the truth for the truth shall set you free
I'll turn the screws of vengeance and bury you with honesty
I'll make all your dreams come to life, then slay them as quickly as they came

Ok, I been here for nearly two years, so I never got to experience the old Column. Just recently, I found a link to a web archive of b.net in 2002 and some of 2001. I'd just like to ask the web team why many of the features that, to me, seem like they would do wonders for the current Renderer and Engine versions of this site, were taken away when the New Hawtness was introduced. I feel that the features of the old Column are quite frankly on a much higher level than the current group system. Was the change because of the Halo 2 Xbox Live clans, or was it something else? If you'd like to see b.net in 2002, please click Here to see a fanclub from the old layout.

Stosh <3's me vicariously... at least someone does...

Well I love flashy things and promises of candy. So I say bring em back.

SPOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!

I'm sure the extra features were fun to play with, but I'm also sure that they were removed for a reason.

Could your chapters be a little more customizable? Yes, of course.

Could this extra customization be easily abused? Maybe. Chapters can get away with pretty much anything that they want to, so I don't know why these features were removed. But I'm not to concerned with it myself, though if you are, all you can do is ask the web team to bring them back.

I wouldn't hold my breath, I doubt there will be those kinds of changes to chapters anytime soon. Maybe in the next hottness.

We've been here since you left.
We left before you came.

Bungie.com just looked....horrible compared to now. Kind of like the random, cheap web layouts. I'm glad the New Hawtness came.

The old lay out looked terrible. I've got to say the new one is way hawter.

In some ways yes, in others not really. I like how the forums are set up in the new hawtness, but overall the old layout was much cooler. More groups themes, so groups were actually quite unique.

It's okay impy, we still love you...

a little.

I don't know if the column really needs all that customization, though, it might take away from the main forums more than it already does.

Old Column, I misses you.

The old column was more fun than the new one. ;(

Now my group is a stagnant pool of spam and depression.

I'm Sorry...

That group seemed like it was really local though. Notice how it said all the members lived in a certain area. That would be kind of hard to do now, seeing as Bnet has over 1 million registered users.

The layout is not what I wanted to change. I know it looks slightly ugly compared to the current one. What I was talking about was the features that the Old Column had. The customization is amazing, and that's what I want to see here.
