First of all, im not sure if the mods already has a thing like this so dont flame if they do (i only got some of the mods on my msn and they werent on so i couldnt ask them)

The idea

Links to every users ten (this number is ofcause optional) most recent posts in their profiles.

The advantages

The mods can track the moves of those members that might be up for a blacklist. Surely there must have been occassions when the mods have bumped into a post which might or might not lead to a blacklist, having a couple of more of that users posts in close range might speed up the decision.

It will be easier for members to decide wheather this guy/girl is material for their group

The downside

Time consuming programming for the bungie crew

The Joyeuse IP Formula

You can just use the search feature. You can search for the author.

Mourne not your comrades who must dwell / too strong to strive -
Within each steel-bound coffin of a cell, / Buried alive;
But rather mourne the apathetic throng / The cowed, and the meek -
Who see the world’s great anguish and its wrong / And dare not speak.

If you search for a name with the author filter on, then you will get every post that user has made (up to like 999 or something like that, I think.) in order of most recent. But you have to enter in the exact name, I believe.

It'd be nifty, but the same is achieved easily with the search feature.

How about a report button the users can have? It will automatically send it to a "pool" where the moderators can go to and deal with it accordingly.

I've been pushing that for several months. Nothing has come of it. Yet...

I was mostly talking about moderation in groups/chapters. Your not getting those hits in the search feature. We had a guy spamming one of my groups and although i blacklisted him, which deleted his posts too, there were still a risk that ppl had flamed back and quoted him. So i basically had to go thru all the most recent threads which was time consuming.

The only problem with that is people would do that if they were mad or something at the person and such. Good idea but it would just cause may-ham picture this... I hate (insert user name) hes such a idiot bla bla bla.... Im gunna report him to make him think hes in trouble.... then he will say to the mod he didnt nothing and then the mod gets confused black lists person anyway.... week later guy comes back online hates mod. Thus the guy whom reported him is laughing at him and the mod.

Well moderators blacklist people based on opinion, or lock it on opinions. This is no different, the idea is it easier for members to report problems to moderators. And moderators won't have to look so much for bad threads.

Yea that would make more sence. But it was a long wait for the search button as other memders have pointed out so that feature would take a long time.
