Most definatly. I don't really want to go on xbox live, it's too much hassle and I can't be bothered with some guy in another country calling me a sniper #blam# or sword biatch.

Heyyo,

Yeah, FPS were first built for computers, and will always be built for computers. Plus modding's nicer on computers (for PS2, and apparently the same for xbox, you need to reburn the dvd's with the mods onnit to be able to use those mods). The last console I owend was a N64 and that will probably be the last one I've ever buy.

If bungie was nice enough to have Halo2Pc a few months after the xbox version sure I'd run to the nearest place I could get it, but since no? I've already bought Tribes: Vengeance, and I'm gonna buy HL2, and probably Star Wars: Battlefront, n' then I won't buy another computer game for a few months, or maybe even a year until I start making summore good income n' have some extra cash to splurge on games. Right now I've got no job, so extra cash is hard to come by.

thats only if you have dialup. even with dsl (and i get a borderline signal) with 40 kbs u can go into almost any server and get less that 150 ping (unless its a crappy map). well of course i would buy it for PC, i dont have and never plan to have an xbox. ive tried it and i dont like it... too many damn buttons on the controller! its too confusing. PC makes much more sence... keyboard has everything to do with movement, mouse has everything to do with shooting. i even have a bunch of controlls bungie could use... Tab for dual wielding, Ctrl for boosting on the ghost... keep all the rest of the controls. i mean a code is a code you dont have to make such major changes for PC, except for make the graphix editable (level of detail, resolution, etc.) and maybe change some menu screens...a week of work at most. i dont see why they wouldnt make it for the PC.

In response to Bobthemaula:

1) Fair play. Some of us are more fortunate than others.
2) Whether or not the PC version of Halo 2 will be the same as the xbox version remains to be seen. Don't forget the PC version of Halo had more than the xbox version.
3) You don't really have to be rich to have a good PC, just clever, and patient. Don't buy from branded stores, you can usually find outlets direct from factory or manufacturer. For example, an AMD64 3000+ retail cost £130, but from manufacturer cost a little under £100. Big savings if you add them up.... Or you could get a job, eh?

Heyyo,

Yeah, I know how you feel dude. I used to have a crappy pc... but I cheated. I OC'ed my cpu with the fan off, n' then said "mommeh... my computer's dead, I have to get a new one...." LMAO, jk, but that would've been funny. Instead, yep, I had a job for the summer, n' that paid for a better comp. Hey, you need to get a job to graduate anywho (well, in Canada you do, dunno aboot the rest of the world...) so you might as well set a goal for it. =D

Another way to get a better comp is to yes, shop better. I go to a computer warehouse to buy my stuff, retail's too expensive.

The difference between Xbox Halo2 and Halo2PC? you'll feel it in the conrolls to begin with (a keyboard n' mouse combo) cause yes, it's easier to aim on PC if you turn of xbox halo2's autoaim. Onna PC? if you did that s*it on any game? you'd be banned cause that's a form of hacking. Autoaim is a less stonger version of an "Aimbot," but still reduces the skill needed to play good by a lot. Try plugging any gamepad into a PC and play HaloPC, guaranteed you'll play MUCh worse han Halo for xbox, and it's not entirely because of the "feel of the game" but your precious autoaim.

I'm sure they'll also try to upgrade the graphics. (Pixel Shader v3.0 is out, and Halo2 is PS2.0... Halo1 xbox was PS1.4... Halo1PC was PS2.0... hmmm, dejavue? I think so) and since Halo2 will probably have a sweet netcode, Halo2PC will be more popular than Halo1PC just for that I bet.

Everybody's computer is pretty much going to be outdated soon. Thats how the tech company keeps them alive. Just look at the Xbox. You'll Xbox 2 in order to play the games now. Same as buying a whole new hardware. I had this computer for like since Xbox was released and yet I still haven't upgraded anything.

People don't like playing games on the sofa and using the controllers. They rather have it on their PC where the PC monitor has alot more better resolution then on the Xbox. Also, they have a keyboard and mouse control which most people will swear by only. Not to mention, the vast online play they can play against people as well without paying 50 dollars for Xbox live, so what if you can't talk like you can on Xbox, its all about fragging your friends, wanna talk, talk on the phone. Sure Xbox has HD capability, but the monitor is alot more sharper and better. Have you seen Half Life 2? If you don't say thats good graphic then you're still living in the rocks.

I'm not rich either yet I still have a high end computer rig. This is one of the things that Xbox fan people love to point out which is totally completely false. People only upgrade until their computer hardware parts die out. They don't upgrade after each generations like some strange people do like buying a radeon 9800 pro and then upgrading to a radeon 9800 XT, then to the X800 Pro, then to the X800XT. I had a Geforce 4 TI4400 before, then the card died and had to borrow my cousin's Radeon 9800XT, then finally bought the 6800 GT which I returned the 9800XT to him.

As you can see, I don't play FPS games on Xbox and probably yeah, you can conclude I prefer it on PC. If Microsoft had made a keyboard and mouse control for the Xbox, then we wouldn't be sitting here. But since Microsoft isn't the friendly company, then I'm not buying Halo 2 because it doesn't have this and that. Thats my stand and to everybody, like it or not.
