O_O you looked at your friends balls when "he" sat on your head O_o

a cool feature for users woudl be a report button. so if someone is bein mean or racist or something, a user can report him and send him to a list of people that the mods get. making it easier for moderators to blacklist people who need blacklisting.

what do ya think?

Or you could just PM the mods about the user...btw, for future threads like this (for B.net), you should post it in the Septagon.

Yeah, I think itd work.

People have said it would be 'abused' but hell, it would be damn easy for a mod to find out who is abusing it, no? :P

No signature found. Click here to change this.

The only problems with that are that it could be hard for moderators to deal with all those warnings at the same time. Plus, it becomes about our personal opinion. One moderator may not see it as an offense, but if they got fifty warnings from the same person on multiple accounts about it, they might lock it just so they'll stop getting warnings.

I think the current system works fine. Just PM a mod about the situation.

Just make it a system where the moderators can access the pool. The reporting goes into a pool, and the moderators can have access to it.

And that eliminates all the people that get insulted (Mainly by me ;-]) from spamming the mods with incessant cries for help from that meanie with the black helmet guy as his avatar.

PMs work just fine, in my opinion.

What if it shows all the reported threads in an extra spot, sort of like the "My Bookmarks" place. But instead of showing threads that has been reported by just one member, it could just show the threads that were reported by lots of users.

So, like, a bookmark system where the bookmarks are sent to some universal moderator pool where we can check and delete them at our pleasure?

Sounds like a plan.

My only question is would you guys use it? I would imagine so. It would greatly cut down on having to search each thread individually (unless you like that kind of thing.)

  • 11.27.2006 5:26 AM PDT

Is it some sort of fetish? Is that how you roll TGP? Is it? Is it?! Would you tap that? Tap it? Tap that universal pool? Would ya?!

I guess it would ultimately be up to the mods, considering that in the end it will be them and them only using it. I like the idea though, could be handy.

Now that you've taken the time to look at my sig, I actually regret not providing you with something more worthwhile.

There would need to be some sort of restriction on which members could use it. Otherwise, people would just spam the hell out of it just to piss off the mods. Perhaps only let accounts over six months old use the feature.
