Hey everyone.
I was really confused when I was using the search feature for this question.
One way was using the ppf-omatic, and another way (which Nessy uses) is screwing around the some configuration file...*clueless*
What is the easiest way to make Halo look sweet and shiny?
And please, explain it to me as simple as you can. :)

The easiest way is to get a new graphics card :)

Haha, that would be simple...but I don't want to spend any money.
Any ideas?

The PPF file restores shaders from the XBox version. The configuration file makes Halo run smoother, while changing the looks of some things.

Both are different, while the PPF file/patch restores the original Xbox game's shinyness, the configuration file sort of "converts" the look of the game (i.e. sniper scope, nightvision, camo, etc.).

Hmm...alright.
I think I want to use the PPF file/patch restore thing.
How do I do this?
I have ppf-omatic v3...so I to fill in these things below (I guess).
What's the ISO file called?
What's the Patch file called?

Maw

Get this that is, Restored Shaders. Set that as the patch file and set the ISO as the Bitmaps.map file, which by default is (c as hard drive) c:\program files\microsoft games\halo\maps\Bitmap.map

Then apply and ignore the "Burn image to CD now!" thing.
