You know what, I just thought of something, and I feel dumb for not thinking of it before. Let's just ask Recon, he's always got some good legal advice. In Fact I'm going to do that right now. I'll post his reply if he doesn't post here.

I treat all of my game disks the same way that I used to treat my old vinyl LP's (ask your grandfather). Hold them by the edges, if they aren't in the player, they are in a sleeve which is stored safely. Accidents happen, but properly cared for, the need for a replacement disk is not that huge. In the case of Halo PC, a replacement disk is still easy (and cheap) to find and comes with the bonus of yet another valid CD key.

Really? Me too man. =D I make sure I never touch the down, shiny side of any of my game disks or my dvd's, ESPECIALLY my HaloPC's disk. I take good care of them, and heck, I even make sure the boxes/cases of my games/dvds are in perfect condition, and when I'm done playing/watching them, I put them in my shelf, very neatly and gently. They're like my own children, except without the whining in Sunday mornings asking for cereal. xD

Agreed. It's common sense really, if you don't want your disk scratched up, be careful with them and don't get your finger prints all over them.

My desk is where all disks go to die.

Oh, Recon, my grandfather fought in both world wars. He came across the Mississippi in a covered wagon. He was over a hundred in the Great Depression, and he didn't know about the stock market then. He rode the Leviathan of of the Titanic, and he hasn't slept since. He doesn't know what an LP is. Just thought you might want to know.
